The Gold Coast's Sports Spot
Your Sports Bar.
Without the Sports Bar.
Every screen, every game, every team. Cold beer brewed 30 feet from your seat. No cover, no minimum, no fluorescent lighting making you regret your life choices.
Watching the game at home is fine. But sometimes you want to be in a room with other people who care as much as you do. Sometimes you want a real beer in your hand. Sometimes the moment is too big to celebrate alone.
OBBC is the spot. Every screen tuned to the game. Every NY team on every night. Every national broadcast you'd actually want to watch. Cold beer brewed in the building. A room with character — wood, brewing tanks, real seats, a pool table for halftime.
Here's the rundown.
The Setup
Every local game.
Every big broadcast.
We carry every regional sports network — MSG, MSG2, SNY, YES — which means every Knicks, Mets, Yankees, Islanders, Rangers, Devils, and Liberty game is live on our screens. Add in every national broadcast on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, and TNT, and you've got the full slate of games that actually matter to a New York fan.
Every screen is tuned by default during game windows. You don't have to ask the bartender to "put the game on." It's already on. If the game you want is on a network we carry and isn't already up somewhere, we'll switch a screen for you. Nobody's going to fight you about it.
Translation: if your team is playing, it's on. If it's the playoffs, it's loud. If it's the Final Four, the room is full.
Your NY Teams
All of them.
All season.
If you root for a New York team, this is your spot. Knicks. Mets. Yankees. Islanders. Rangers. Devils. Giants. Jets. Liberty. Red Bulls. We have every regional sports network — MSG, SNY, YES, MSG2 — plus every national broadcast for the playoffs and big games. If your team is on TV, it's on at OBBC.
And we've earned a particular reputation as an Islanders bar. Our flagship beer, Barn Rocker, is the un-official beer of the New York Islanders — brewed for the team, served at every Islanders watch, and named for the kind of crowd that earns the name.
Game day rituals at OBBC
Knicks tip-offs at 7 or 8. Mets and Yankees during the dinner shift. Islanders games live and loud on weekend nights. Sundays in the fall are about the Giants, the Jets, and the brunch crowd.
The Big Ones
Championships.
Majors. Finals.
It's not just the regular season. We're the spot for the moments your living room can't handle.
Super Bowl Sunday. NBA Finals. Stanley Cup Finals. World Series. The Masters and the US Open. The Final Four. The College Football Playoff. The World Cup — yes, including this summer's tournament at MetLife. If it's a championship moment on a major broadcast network, we're showing it.
We open the bar earlier when we have to. We stay open later when the game goes to overtime. The room knows what's at stake.
Big games are better in a room full of people who actually care about them. That's not a marketing line — it's why people come.
What's Coming Up
The next few months.
A few moments worth marking on your calendar:
🏀 NBA Playoffs — happening now. Knicks rolling. Every game on every screen. Pull up.
🏒 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs — happening now. Best hockey of the year, every night, on the big screens. Even without a NY team in the dance this year, playoff hockey hits different in a brewery.
⚾ Subway Series at Citi Field — May 15-17. Mets vs Yankees. We've got both fan bases. Cold beer is neutral territory.
⛳ U.S. Open at Shinnecock — June 15-21. Father's Day weekend. Final round Sunday. Bourbon flights and the leaderboard on every screen.
⚽ FIFA World Cup at MetLife Stadium — June 13 onward. Eight matches at MetLife including the Final on July 19. Every match, every team, every screen.
🏈 NFL kickoff — September. Sundays here are different from your couch.
Why Watch Here
Five reasons we're
better than the alternative.
1. The beer is actually good. Fifteen-plus on draft, brewed in the building. Macro lights are available if that's your thing — but they aren't your only option.
2. The room has character. Real wood. Real bar. Brewing tanks behind the glass. Not a sterile chain-restaurant sports bar with vinyl booths and bad lighting.
3. There's a pool table. For halftime, between games, or whenever the score gets ugly.
4. We're open till midnight on weekends. West coast game running late? Overtime in the playoffs? We're not closing the kitchen on you in the third quarter.
5. No cover. No minimum. No nonsense. Walk in, sit down, watch the game. That's it.
While You're Watching
Beer, food, and a new cocktail.
Fifteen-plus craft beers on draft, all brewed on-site. Barn Rocker is the easy-drinking flagship — light, sessionable, made for nine innings or four quarters. Honey Ale, Alexa Double IPA, and rotating specialty pours fill out the rest of the board.
Behind the bar: cocktails featuring Montauk Spirits, including our newest pour — Bayside, raspberry iced tea + vodka. Wine list and full kitchen if you're settling in for a long game.
Order the Barn Rocker. It's named after this exact crowd.
