Every Tuesday · 5:30 PM Till Dark

Cruise Night.
The best Tuesday on Long Island.

Every Tuesday evening through September 19, Audrey Avenue transforms into something genuinely special. More than 250 classic cars, muscle cars, sports cars, and custom builds line the street from 5:30 PM till dark. Live music plays. Vendors set up. Families walk the block. Over 1,000 people show up every single week — and they've been doing it for over 20 years.

Show car entry is $10. Spectating is completely free. All makes and models welcome — the breadth of what shows up on Audrey Avenue on a Tuesday night is genuinely impressive. A 1967 Mustang next to a custom lowrider next to a mint-condition Corvette next to something you've never seen before.

We pour cold beer right out front of the brewery at 36 Audrey Avenue every Cruise Night — the cars literally park on our block. Walk the show, grab a pint, walk some more. Come inside when you're ready for the full bar and 15+ drafts. This is the Tuesday night the Gold Coast was made for.

Thursdays · Audrey Avenue Extension

Dancing in the Street.
Free. All ages. Under the stars.

Now in its 15th year, Dancing in the Street is one of the purest expressions of what Oyster Bay does best — turning Audrey Avenue into a community gathering place for no reason other than the joy of it. The Oyster Bay Main Street Association closes the Audrey Avenue extension and transforms it into an open-air dance floor, with a new DJ, new theme, and new energy every other Thursday evening.

Free admission. All ages. 6:30–9:30 PM. No ticket needed. Just show up.

Come dance on Audrey Avenue, then walk two blocks to 36 Audrey and let us pour you something cold. Best Thursday night combination on the North Shore.

August 22–23 · Town of Oyster Bay

The Oyster Bay Triathlon.
The Gold Coast at its most athletic.

Every August the Town of Oyster Bay hosts one of the most scenic triathlons on Long Island — a genuine test of endurance set against the Gold Coast's most beautiful geography. The course begins with a half-mile swim in Oyster Bay Harbor, transitions to a 15-kilometer bike course through the town, and finishes with a 5-kilometer run.

Saturday August 22 features the Junior Triathlon for young athletes. The main event runs Sunday August 23. Spectating is free — watching the swim start in Oyster Bay Harbor alone is worth showing up for. And after athletes cross the finish line, there's only one place on Audrey Avenue built for a proper post-race cold one.

Late August · Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park

The Bluefish Tournament.
A Gold Coast tradition.

Launching out of Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park and Beach, the Town of Oyster Bay's annual Bluefish Tournament is one of those events that captures exactly what the harbor has always been about — fishing, community, and a little friendly competition. Fishermen have 12 hours on the clock to hunt the waters for the largest Bluefish caught. A weigh-in, awards ceremony, BBQ tailgate, and door prizes round out the day.

A special Snapper Derby Tournament for children runs alongside the main event — registration opens July 28. Main event registration opens August 17.

Come for the fish. Stay for the harbor. End the day at 36 Audrey Avenue with something cold and well-earned.

Saturday August 29 · 10 AM – 12 PM

Raynham Hall Museum
Guided Walking Tour.

Raynham Hall at 30 West Main Street is one of the most historically significant buildings on Long Island — the home of Robert Townsend, "Culper Junior" in George Washington's Revolutionary War spy network. Built in 1738, it's the only AAM-accredited historic house museum on Long Island and one of the most compelling stops on the Gold Coast.

On Saturday August 29, the Museum hosts a guided walking tour departing from the Visitors' Center at 10 AM. A genuinely immersive way to experience the Revolutionary War history that unfolded on these exact streets. The tour runs 10 AM–12 PM — which leaves your afternoon wide open for exactly the kind of Gold Coast afternoon we'd recommend.

OysterFest is coming.
October 17–18.

Start planning now — OysterFest 2026 is October 17–18 at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park, Beach, and Audrey Avenue. The largest waterfront festival on the East Coast returns to the village for another year of oyster shucking contests, amusement rides, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and — you guessed it — the official Oyster Bay Brewing Company beer garden.
